The flexible metal tines clean well and the cat seems to enjoy getting brushed since he turned around to have me to the other side while brushing him. I even got a few head bumps afterwards.The misting part looks great and I'm hoping that I can get the cat to accustomed to it. When he isn't aware of it being on, the fur is collected easier and it seems to provide a softer feel to the fur. However, once the cat is aware, he quickly darts off. Little by little will get him used to it as had to be done with the other regular hair brushes.This is definitely a recommended cat hair brush.
